I'm calling this week 2 but it has really been a month since I posted week 1. To find out what the 52 project is click here. I've had writer's block lately when it comes to blogging, on this blog and the St. Augustine Mom's Blog. But I do have some exciting DIY furniture projects that I am going to be sharing with you guys soon.
This week instead of posting individual pictures of the boys, I took two of them together. I think its so important to capture their relationship together. They truly are best friends and inseparable. Of course they fight over toys but its not everyday and it doesn't even begin to outshine their love for each other. The best thing I ever did was have them close together (I would have said that was the worst thing ever if you had asked me last year). But now that Clark is almost completely potty trained and Jude has gained quite a bit of independence, it has been smooth sailing.
The last few months have been a bit of a rollercoaster for Ryan and I. We have been trying to conceive our third child for about 4-5 months, which was new territory for us. Jude was a surprise pregnancy and Clark was conceived the first month we stopped trying not to have a baby. So, to be actively trying with temping, ovulation tests, and charting and it not happen was scary and depressing to say the least. Then, about two months ago I had a chemical pregnancy. For those that don't know, that is a very early miscarriage and that was heartbreaking. But now I'm happy to announce I am 6.5weeks pregnant with healthy baby number three!
We couldn't be more excited and the kids couldn't be more excited. Jude talks to my belly daily and tells the baby that he loves it. He wants to name it lazer if its a boy and Margaret if its a girl. I would have liked to wait to announce it a little longer because of what happened a few months ago. But I'm already showing and I'm already puking so I couldn't really hide it anymore. Plus, when a family member slips up and tells your four year old about it, it doesn't really stay a secret.
This past week, Jude turned four. He has become so independent and is so excited to be starting school this fall. Clark is 2years3months old, he still hasn't quite grasped the big brother idea but he loves snuggling his baby cousin so I think he will be excited when the baby comes.
